Winners of Finance Awards Wales 2018 were awarded certificates at a special drinks reception held last week.
Hosted by sponsors Grant Thornton and Recruit 121 Finance & Accounting, the evening recognised the Finance professionals and teams from all 11 categories and gave the judges an opportunity to congratulate the winners personally.
The Awards, which were designed to celebrate the Finance professionals of Wales saw almost 100 nominations and over 30 shortlisted entries, culminating in a glittering ceremony in Cardiff’s City Hall in April.
Sponsor Rhian Owen, Audit Partner Grant Thornton Cardiff, said:
‘We were delighted to host the winners’ reception as it was yet again another unique aspect of the Finance Awards event. We welcomed the chance to create another opportunity, to gather together the talent and expertise of the winners, to recognise the sterling work they are doing in helping Wales to create a vibrant economy.’
Sponsor Emma Peterson, director Recruit 121 Finance & Accounting, said:
“We have loved working alongside Finance Awards Wales in recognising and highlighting the high calibre financial talent that we have in Wales.
