Professional services provider EST has launched a commercial finance arm to provide funding advice to ambitious and growing SMEs in south Wales.
EST Commercial Finance is headed up by director Mark Watts, who has more than a decade of experience in the banking and finance industry, having previously worked in both the high net worth and commercial banking sector for HSBC.
Aiming to differentiate itself from others in the sector, EST Commercial Finance is a whole-of-market brokerage that provides a consultative approach to ensure clients find the most appropriate finance solution needed to grow their businesses.
Comments, Mark Watts:
“We’re aiming to make our business akin to other professional services. As we’re not reliant on commission, we can afford to invest time in our clients to fully understand the business which enables us to present the most appropriate solution to any given set of circumstances.”
Part of the EST group of businesses, which includes EST Accountants and Tax Advisers and EST HR, the new division is uniquely placed to be able to fulfil and support the broader needs of its clients.
“With access to other professional advisers within our group, we are able to really add value to our clients. Working with our tax advisers, we can structure deals appropriately considering the tax implications and the longer term picture for the business. While, working alongside our accountancy colleagues means we can look at generating funds without accessing borrowing.
“Having the advice all under one roof speeds up the process and makes it much easier for our clients. There’s certainly no other brokerage like us and the opportunity this presents to speed up the business growth process and help our clients reach their ultimate goals faster is something that really excites me.”
The launch of EST Commercial Finance is the latest move by the innovative and progressive business services provider having launched EST HR in April 2016. Earlier this year, EST Accountants and Tax Advisers acquired Newport-based Price & Partners adding to its growing client base.
Director of EST, Barry Esterhuizen said:
“In the last year, our aim of having a complementary group of companies has come to fruition. We’re now able to offer a wider range of services to our clients all in one place – accountancy, payroll, tax, auto enrolment, HR and now commercial finance. Each service makes the other service better and allows us to really add value to their businesses.
“We envisage adding more complementary services to EST over the next year so that we continue to enhance our offering.”
