Dyfed Menswear Appoint UpriseVSI to Drive Digital Transformation


Wales’ leading menswear hire company, Dyfed Menswear has appointed web development and online booking specialist, UpriseVSI to implement a new brand and digital strategy to enhance customer experience and help further grow revenues.

Established in 1985, Dyfed Menswear is a family owned business with its headquarters in Gorslas, West Wales and a further four stores in Cardiff, Newport, Ystrad Mynach and Bristol. The company specialises in the hire of formal wear for weddings and other special occasions and also sells suits and accessories.  Dyfed has won ‘Best Wedding Menswear’ award at the Welsh National Wedding Awards for the last eight years.

Having recently opened a new store in Bristol, Dyfed is also investing in new facilities within its stores including private consultation rooms, which will allow grooms and their parties to have fittings in their own private areas.

Dyfed has appointed UpriseVSI to help it modernise its brand identity and develop a new website which, as well as allowing customers to view its wide range of formal wear,  will also allow them to purchase accessories online including ties, shirts, shoes and cufflinks.  Dyfed’s staff will also be able to take deposit payments from customers through the website when they’re exhibiting at wedding fayres.

The new website will also allow customers to book consultations online at any one of Dyfed’s five stores.  This will be built using thinkBooker, UpriseVSI’s award-winning online booking software, which won ‘Best Emerging Technology’ at the 2017 Wales Online Digital Awards.  The thinkBooker system was recently implemented as a personal shopping and scheduling system for leading luxury clothing retailer, Browns Fashion in London, who are owned by global online retailer FarFetch, as part of their ‘store of the future’ initiative and is also used by many other leading brands including the Welsh Rugby Union, FAW, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Aston Martin Owners Club.
