Transport for Wales, the body responsible for delivering Wales’ transport infrastructure, has joined forces with leading independent Welsh publisher, Business News Wales, launching Wales’ first dedicated Transport and Infrastructure news channel.

Launched during Business News Wales’ Transport and Infrastructure Week, the channel will offer a mix of up-to-date content on all aspects of the industry. Working closely with a number of organisations, Business News Wales will be engaging with businesses, government and public bodies, as well as local authorities, universities and other stakeholders.

Innovation will be a key focus for the channel, allowing readers to access information on who is playing their part in shaping the future of Transport and Infrastructure in Wales.

Mark Powney, Managing Director of Business News Wales, says:

“Wales’ transport infrastructure is pivotal to the future success of the Welsh economy and is going through a time of significant change with exciting new developments such as the Metro in the pipeline. We’re pleased to work with Transport for Wales to launch this important new channel which will be a useful source of information about all aspects of Transport and Infrastructure in Wales.’’

Equally as thrilled to play a part in this ongoing campaign is Transport for Wales. Talking of their involvement, Alan Edwards, Director of Infrastructure Development said:

“At Transport for Wales we strive for innovative ways to meet the needs of those who use, and benefit from, our services.  It’s an exciting time for transport and infrastructure in Wales so we’re pleased to support Business News Wales in providing a platform for the business community to explore and engage with transport developments.”
