Cwmbran-based Bridgetime Transport has been presented with a prestigious award by the Fortec Distribution Network.
The company won the Commercial Excellence Award (Larger Depot) – based on its business performance in 2016.
The award was presented to Robbie Evans, Director and Co-owner of Bridgetime Transport, at a prestigious ceremony at Carden Park in Cheshire, attended by 185 guests.
Bridgetime fended off competition from more than 70 other members of the national network to win the title, which comes as Bridgetime celebrates ten years with the Fortec network this year.
No stranger to award success, Bridgetime was presented with the Newcomer Award in its first year with the network.
And consistent hard work and a can-do attitude later earned Bridgetime General Manager Dave Sykes a People Award, as Fortec highlighted his ability to manage the workload of two people, ensuring the company delivered exceptional results for customers.
Robbie Evans, Director and Co-Owner of Bridgetime Transport, said:
“We have a fantastic team here at Bridgetime which is key to our winning these awards.
“We strive to support a really good level of service. It is all about delivering goods on time, intact and for the right price.
“We work hard every day to identify challenges and to improve ourselves and we are delighted to see our efforts widely recognised in the industry.”
David Spong, Network Director, said:
“Our congratulations to Robbie and the team at Bridgetime Transport on winning this latest award.
“Over the years we have built a highly successful network and the ethos of going the extra mile for the benefit of Fortec, fellow members and their customers runs throughout.
“Bridgetime has consistently been a pro-active player within the network, often pulling out all the stops to ensure our seamless service continues.
“We are delighted to present this award in recognition of this ongoing dedication and commitment.”
