A 24,684 square foot factory in Welshpool has been made available to rent following the owner’s relocation and expansion in the Powys market town. Unit B, Henfaes Lane previously housed Newmor Group’s distribution centre, which has relocated across the road to be adjacent to the company’s manufacturing unit.
The relocation is part of a major expansion project which has also seen the company centralise the production of its Morland division at the 87,000 sq ft Unit 4 on Buttington Cross Enterprise Park, Welshpool. Employing a workforce of 209, Newmor Group manufactures commercial wallcoverings and prefinished fit out products. The group, which is enjoying business growth, is run by the grandsons of John Morris, who founded the company in 1967. Unit B, Henfaes Lane, which is on offer with commercial agents Halls for an annual rent of £67,880, sits on 1.96-acre site and fronts Henfaes Lane in an established commercial quarter of Welshpool.
