Clogau Gold Chief to Give Talk at IoD Business Breakfast

helen-watson-iodThe managing director of an international jewellery firm in North Wales will address business leaders at an Institute of Directors (IoD) breakfast.

Ben Roberts of Denbighshire-based Clogau Gold is guest speaker for the event, where he will discuss the company’s journey from a small family firm to a major international jeweller.

Ben, who joined the business in 2007, has played a vital role in the transformation of the business into a globally recognised brand. Before taking over as managing director, he worked in the marketing, product design, and operations departments.

He has been named IoD North Wales’ young director of the year, a Hot 100 business big shot 2014, and listed in the Who’s Who of Britain’s business elite three years running.

The brand has been named UK jewellery brand of the year and is fast becoming a jewel in the crown of Wales’ most successful businesses.

The breakfast, jointly held by the IoD with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Cymru and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Cymru, will also provide networking opportunities for attendees.
