Chwarae Teg is once again celebrating the achievements of women from all backgrounds and stages in life or work across Wales. Womenspire Awards showcases the remarkable accomplishments of women and will inspire future generations.
Nominations are sought by and on behalf of women at all stages, and across all walks of life, who are proud of what they are achieving – whether it’s in their private or professional lives or in the wider community.
Categories this year are:
- champion of the year
- leader of the year
- game changer of the year
- woman in the creative sector
- rising star
- community activist of the year
- woman in rural economy
- woman in business/enterprise
- STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) pioneer
- woman in education
- learner of the year
- man of the year
- employer of the year
Entries are also open to organisations and employers in the public, private and third sector who are committed to gender equality and providing the support and development required for their female colleagues to achieve and prosper.
The deadline for entries is Friday 31 March 2017 with the awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 21 June 2017 at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
