Complete Background Screening (CBS) has been awarded the Wales Fast Growth 50 Sustainable Growth award in the Fast Growth 50 ceremony on Friday November 6 due to their inclusion in the list for four consecutive years.
Founded in 2005, CBS is a background screening and criminal disclosures company based in Ynysybwl. The experienced team ranked a 97.2% growth in the past year with clients such as multi-national The British Heart Foundation and Siemens, placing them in the Fast Growth list for the fourth year running. This achievement has led them to be named one of the four companies who this year won the Sustainable Growth Award, sponsored by Santander.
Speaking of the win, CEO of CBS, Rachel Bedgood said,
“We are so happy to be appearing on the list once again and it’s fantastic for us to see the business continuously growing. It’s rewarding to be recognised for our sustainable growth which has been achieved from the hard work of all our staff.
We have come a long way since our humble beginnings and have learnt a lot along the way. It’s really important to me that CBS as a business continue to help provide jobs for the local area and as long as we continue to grow as a business, we will also be able to grow our quality workforce and give back to the local economy. We’re very excited for 2016”.
Speaking about the awards this year, founder of the Fast Growth 50 awards, Professor Dylan Jones-Evans said, “I am delighted that CBS has made the Fast Growth 50 list for the fourth year in succession. Sustainable growth is the aim of all successful firms and I congratulate Rachel and her team on this fantastic achievement.”
Fast Growth 50 has been running since 1999 and is a list which ambitious private sector businesses are hungry to be featured in. Run by Professor Dylan Jones-Evans, the Fast Growth 50 has become a ceremony to applaud the successes of Welsh businesses.
