Europa Worldwide Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing logistics operators started trading in May and since then the team has gone from strength to strength.

The new firm is delighted to be supporting the local business community, providing European road freight services to a new customer base. The new site is one of 16 local sales teams located around the UK.

The operator increased its regional presence with the addition of new locations, expanding Europa Road’s footprint and filling geographical gaps across the North, East, and West between its existing sites.

Currently, the road freight industry is growing and forecast to be worth 431,360m euros by 2026. Recognising this potential, Europa invested half a million pounds with the addition of the three new road sales branches – in Cardiff, Liverpool and Cambridge.

The first month of business across the new branches has seen a total of 90 consignments shipped, consisting of both imports and exports between the UK and Europe. 60 percent of those consignments used Europa Flow product to ensure smooth customs clearance.

The new Cardiff site shows great promise, bringing leading European transport services to the local area. Europa selected Wales after substantial research into suitable locations showing growth in European imports and exports.

Chelsea Bartlett, Branch Manager at Cardiff, commented:

“Our new team is a fantastic addition to the Europa family, having already surpassed all expectations. Europa Cardiff is already doing an amazing job for new customers across the region helping them move their goods in and out of Europe.”

Adrian Redmile, Branch Network and Sales Director, Europa Road commented:

“We are really pleased with the performance of the new team. To ensure we meet the obvious demand for European road freight from across Wales we are focusing our efforts on further recruitment for the new branch. Our goal is to have a branch of 10 individuals by the end of this year, ensuring we provide businesses across Wales with our very best service.”

The operator is making steps and at its recent June staff conference, EuropaCom, attended by the team from Cardiff, Europa’s Chief Executive, Andrew Baxter, announced its £300m turnover last year. This major milestone illustrates the incredible overall success that Europa is currently experiencing.

Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with three divisions, Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, and Europa Warehouse, and has featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for the third time. The Group employs over 1,300 across the UK, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
