Time and Beef on 169 Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, CF11 9AH is celebrating its first quarter since opening with a new steak menu.
Time and Beef (formerly known as Time Café) re-opened on March 4th as a revolving espresso, burger and cocktail bar. Steve Chambers, the Manager of Time and Beef wanted to revolutionise the way we eat and drink in Cardiff with his ‘build your own burger’ menu concept, inspired by popular street food culture.
Steve Chambers, Manager of Time and Beef said:
“It was always part of my initial plan to develop the ‘beef’ element to the business once we became established in Cardiff’s bustling burger scene. It’s been a great journey so far and we’ve received a lot of exposure and built up some great customer and business relationships.”
“We have three types of steak available – Sirloin, Rump and Jacobs Ladder, which is close to the rib section. All of our meat is sourced from our local award-winning local butcher Jeff Braithwaites & Sons. We make all our sauces in-house too, including Peppercorn, Blue Cheese, Bearnaise, Garlic & Herb & Mushroom Sauce. We’ve also added Garlic Mushrooms to our light bites section and our Billionaire Fries are sure to be a hit! Fries tossed in truffle oil topped with Grana Padano with crispy bacon bits & chives.”
The new steak menu will be available every Friday & Saturday, with the potential to extend mid-week. All steaks are £20, which includes a sauce and side dish.
