Cardiff's original celebration of home grown produce and sensational street food is back for its 20th year with a vast array of food from over 100 producers from the local area and around the world.

The ever-popular event, which has a new layout this year, takes place in Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay from July 5th until July 7th and promises to offer food lovers a mouth-watering experience.

The Street Food Piazza will host some of the biggest names on the UK street food circuit, including The Mighty Softshell Crab, Puckin Poutine, Purple Poppadom and Meat and Greek

The Producers Fair and Farmers Market is the place to go for everything from artisan alcohol and homemade preserves to gourmet sweet treats and farm-to-table produce and if you want to just kick back and enjoy a drink in the sunshine then music from the bandstand will provide the perfect soundtrack.

Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Councillor Peter Bradbury, said:

“Cardiff Food and Drink Festival has been delighting foodies for twenty years now and this year is sure to be no exception.

“The city will be in full swing all summer with a host of fun-packed events but there's a serious side to all the smiles – events are vital to Cardiff's economy, they're part of what makes the capital such a great place to live, work and visit.”
