England Netball has appointed Sotic as a new digital partner following a competitive tender process.
The award-winning Cardiff based digital agency, which has been working with sports rights-holders since 2002 and counts Six Nations Rugby, World Sailing and The Tour of Britain Cycling amongst its clients, will play a key role in helping the BT Sports Industry Organisation of the Year realise its potential from its digital platforms.
The four year partnership has seen a new website launched this week for the Vitality Netball Superleague while work is also ongoing on a brand new England Netball website.
Sotic’s Commercial Director Lyndsey Irwin commented;
“We began working with England Netball late last year after winning a very competitive tender process and we really couldn’t have picked a more exciting time to come on board. With a Commonwealth Gold Medal secured last April and a home Netball World Cup on the horizon this summer, the buzz around the sport and the Vitality Roses is infectious.
We believe that the website sits at the heart of England Netball’s digital, marketing and commercial strategy and is key to telling an enticing story about the sport, the organisation and the Vitality Netball Superleague, to attract fans, participants, sponsors and broadcasters.
Working with Sotic will enable England Netball to better promote their commercial partners and will improve the organisation’s relationship with its fans online, allowing them to mix many different content sources to bring them closer to the action and to encourage people of all ages to get involved with the sport.”
England Netball Commercial Director Jo Sinclair said;
“We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Sotic. We were very impressed by their strong track-record in delivering robust technical solutions, their commitment to customer service and crucially their strong understanding of the digital sports market.”
