Business News Wales is proud to announce it has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards this month.
Managing Director, Mark Powney, has been shortlisted for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ through Cardiff Business Awards. The award recognises business people who have successfully launched innovative ideas and turned them into successful businesses.
Mark has been growing Business News Wales at a fast pace over the last three years. As an independent publishing company, Business News Wales aims to be the voice of Welsh business news and it generates positive news stories for businesses of all sizes. The team is rapidly growing its readership throughout all areas of Wales.
Mark has also successfully established Recruitment Buzz (5 years), an online recruitment news source and Ecom Digital (8 years) which provides high level digital marketing consultancy to some of Europe’s major job boards.
The award ceremony takes place June 23rd at Cardiff City Hall.
Business News Wales has also been shortlisted for ‘Digital Business of the Year’ by South Wales Business Awards, which are to be held June 14th at the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge.
