Zokit Bridgend are launching its’ first Business Festival of its kind in the area.

The event is aimed at business owners and professionals who wish to raise their business profile and connect with like-minded professionals from across South Wales and beyond. There will be 5 speaker spotlights, a series of five minute ‘BizWiz’ talks from successful and respected business entrepreneurs who will share their business wisdom with fellow business owners and professionals, as well as festival themed business stalls designed to embrace entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity.

The event organizer, Sherona Treen-Coward, explained ‘the event is not an expo, it is designed to be the start of a festival themed business event encouraging business owners to share their business ‘best bits’, celebrate business, success and networking. So it will be an extended event. We went for the festival theme to encourage business owners to perhaps get out of a comfort zone or approach business differently in order to get different results. We are inviting them to bring their banner, enjoy a burger and engage. Business can be lonely on times but our continued professional development is just as important as if we were employed, that is how we remain innovative and ahead in our industries. Successful entrepreneurs connect, share and grow. At Zokit we nurture business excellence which is
essential for business evolution and taking qualitative risks’.

The event will take place 12noon, Tuesday 12th June 2018 at Pantruthyn Farm Restaurant, Bridgend (J35, M4). Registration is required to attend and is open to all business owners and professionals. There will be some festival themed business stands held by the Development Bank of Wales, e-Development, and UK Health Radio. Guests will be invited to share their business wisdom through the BizWiz tree, whether it be recommending business books, making requests for collaborative projects, or sharing good practice.
