Quantum Advisory will be hosting a ‘Pensions for Brunch’ webinar featuring key speakers addressing selected topical issues affecting the pension industry today.

Principal Investment Consultant at Quantum Advisory, Paul Francis will open the event outlining the investment market forecast for 2021 and themes for pension fund investment. Paul will consider the events that have led to the current position of markets, the prospects for returns over the coming year, and what areas trustees should have in mind regarding market developments and risks.

Andrew Riley, Director of Resilient ESG Governance Services, will look at Accounting For Sustainability’s ESG toolkit and other practical tools for pension trustees to assess what their scheme is doing and what steps can be taken to integrate ESG considerations into action.

Senior Consultant and Actuary at Quantum Advisory, Simon Hubbard, will end the session by providing a roundup of the pension issues that should be at the top of all defined benefit and defined contribution trustees’ current agendas. Topics that Simon will cover include 2020 mortality experience, the Pensions Regulator funding code, the UK's Retail Price Index reform and Guaranteed Minimum Pension reconciliation and equalisation.
