Port Talbot based technology business Vizolution is expanding its team at Baglan Energy Park.
Vizolution is part of the growing market for next generation remote collaboration and screen-sharing technologies providing digital customer engagement solutions that allow call centre agents to provide the benefits of a face to face meeting remotely.
The company enjoyed a record 2014 and is on course to double revenue in 2015.
Vizolution was founded by Bill Safran and Huw Rees in 2012. The business started from a hot desking facility at the Baglan Bay Innovation Centre, moved to bigger premises at Baglan Energy Park in 2014 and now employs over 20 staff.
After several years in development Vizolution launched its revolutionary vScreen solution in the financial services sector in 2013. vScreen is a screen sharing solution that allows an agent to conduct a ‘face to face’ advice session with a customer remotely. Together with its vDoc and vChat products, normal webchat is transformed into a multimedia experience with the ability to show images to customers. The vScreen solution also delivers electronic signatures, secure document transfer and it generates a compliance record of the session.
vScreen is highly focused on the call centre market especially those with complex products and heavy compliance requirements like the financial services sector. The obvious benefit that vScreen provides to this market is improved performance metrics such as sales and conversion rates, improved customer satisfaction and enhanced compliance.
vScreen is already used by four of the top-5 UK lenders and two of the top-5 UK insurance providers and Vizolution has recently announced LV=, Allied Irish Bank and Wesleyan as new clients and has secured contracts with several other household utility names. Demand for vScreen has been extremely strong and the company has enjoyed international success with clients in Australia and North America and new clients to be shortly announced in Germany and Benelux.
Over the past year Vizolution has won a host of industry awards including Made in Wales Technology Award sponsored by Software Alliance Wales. They were also named Innovative Software of the Year at the prestigious 2014 ESTnet Awards and Best Digital Customer Engagement Solution UK 2015 in the Global Banking & Finance Review.
Bill Safran, CEO of Vizolution said:
“Port Talbot is the company’s headquarters and technology centre. It is an ideal location to recruit, hire and retain the best of Welsh IT talent. We have secured some excellent candidates already and hope to do so again in our next recruitment drive.
“As a rapidly expanding company we’re always looking for exceptional people to join us. We’re currently looking for .NET Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Information Security Managers. Additionally, Baglan Energy Park has excellent communication links with the close proximity to the M4 and main line rail stations.”
Councillor Ali Thomas OBE, Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council said:
“It is great news to see that a home-grown company is doing so well, and expanding within the Borough. It also demonstrates the diverse range of companies and technologies that are thriving within Neath Port Talbot.
“I am particularly pleased that the Council’s Business Development Team was fundamental in assisting them with their expansion, and establishing them within their new premises.”
