Anthony Becomes One of Only Seven Chartered PR Practitioners in Wales

A Mold-based PR practitioner has joined an elite selection of professionals to become chartered in the public relations industry.

Anthony Bullick, head of digital at Outwrite PR, is now one of only 115 chartered PR practitioners in the UK, and one of just seven in Wales.

AB Chartered 2The status was awarded by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) following a rigorous assessment day in Manchester.

In order to become chartered, candidates must demonstrate excellence in challenging areas of PR including ethics, strategy and leadership.

Anthony, who also holds the CIPR advanced certificate in public relations, became a Member of the institute (MCIPR) in 2014.

He also volunteers his time as treasurer of the CIPR North West regional committee, which expands the knowledge and practice of PR in the north west of England and North Wales.

Anthony said:

“I’m thrilled to have gained chartered status. It was a tough but ultimately rewarding assessment day and it’s made me a better practitioner.

“The day tested my PR skills, knowledge and experience and it’s given me more confidence in my ability to enhance and maintain reputations to the highest level.”

Anthony, who was shortlisted for two industry awards last year, joined Outwrite PR in 2012. He also sits on the Institute of Directors (IoD) North Wales committee.

Outwrite PR’s managing director Tracy North said:

“Anthony works hard to ensure he is at the forefront of new thinking and techniques in PR. It came as no surprise to everyone at Outwrite that he was awarded chartered status at the first attempt. We’re very proud of him.”
