Independent financial services consultancy, Quantum Advisory, is hosting its next “Pensions for Breakfast” seminar for South Wales and the South West.

Simon Hubbard, Senior Consultant and Actuary at Quantum Advisory, will provide an overview of the developments in the Defined Benefit (DB) buy-out market, as well as some quick tips on how DB schemes can get themselves ready to buy-out in the future. Simon will also examine how the Defined Contribution (DC) annuity market is reacting following the freedoms brought in for DC arrangements.

Investment Consultant at Quantum Advisory Jordan Griffiths will discuss how investment markets have performed over the last 12 months, giving his thoughts on how markets are reacting to the ongoing Brexit negotiations and how pension schemes in the UK are managing these highly uncertain and volatile times.

Ryan Parsons, Quantum Advisory Consultant, will end the session by providing a roundup of the pension issues that should be at the top of all defined benefit and defined contribution trustees’ current agendas.
