Description

Are you a mum running your own business alongside raising your family?

On International Women’s Day 2019, the It’s About Time Summit is designed to celebrate mothers in business, to provide a chance to network, and to give you an opportunity to discuss the barriers to self-employment which still exist for female entrepreneurs.

The event, run by NatWest Cymru, the University of South Wales and BizMums, and supported by Darwin Gray Solicitors and the Federation of Small Businesses, will include keynote speakers, a Q&A with a high-profile panel, a marketplace of stalls and plenty of opportunity to connect with other women in business.

Time is precious in business and family life, and our It’s About Time Summit will consider:

  • Timing the jump from employment to self-employment.
  • Time management – including work-life balance and flexible working.
  • And how goals change over time.

Keynote speakers:

Andrea Callanan. Voice and Success Coach, Inspire Me founder, best-selling author, international speaker

Businesswoman and Voice and Success Coach Andrea Callanan is passionate about helping people and business find their voice and confidence.

A singer by trade and later a music industry voice coach and record label owner, she now speaks, coaches and writes. She’s the founder and owner of the award-winning people development company inspire me, which specialises in corporate engagement.

Jennifer Barnfield. Founder of The PEPP Method™

Award winning motivational speaker Jennifer Barnfield is a former British, Welsh and Scottish Ice Dance Champion and an International Silver medallist, now the Founder of The PEPP Method™.

Having competed at the highest level in international and national ice dance championships, she found that digging deep, believing in your desires and dreams, aiming for your goals, maintaining positivity and never ever giving up was the only way forwards. Jennifer is the epitome of her tagline “A Positive Attitude Produces A Positive Aptitude”.
