Richard is a prominent figurehead in the Automotive industry, having worked in the sector for over 25 years.

Richard’s previous roles include Marketing Manager at Rover Group; Brand and Marketing Manager at BMW Financial Services and Group Sales Director at Manheim Europe. Richard continues to work closely with industry, representing the banking industry on the main UK Automotive Council.

James Davies, Executive Chair

In April 2017, James became Executive Chair of Industry Wales, to bring voice of Manufacturing industry to Welsh Government including responsibility for three Industry sector forum (ESTnet, WAF and AFW).

A Member of the HEFCW Council, he also sits on the Ministerial Advisory Board (MAB) for Economy & Transport in Wales.

Industry Wales, together with its specialist aerospace, automotive and electronics, software and technology Forums, is helping to grow Welsh technology and manufacturing businesses, globally.
