Our April lunch this year, kindly sponsored by Hygrove Homes, will feature an extremely high caliber business speaker.
The former Director of BT in Wales, Ann Beynon OBE will join members and their guests to talk about her career journey as well as reflecting on the current business environment and the interface between the public and private sector.
Ann has held major r public and private sector positions throughout her career and managed BT’s relationship with the Welsh Government and all key opinion formers during her time at the company, as the most senior company representative in Wales.
Currently Ann holds several roles including being a Non-Executive Director of FUWIS (the Farmers Union of Wales Insurance Services) and Hafren Dyfrdwy, a subsidiary of Severn Trent Water. Ann is also the chair of Clwstwr, an innovative programme that is seeking to transform Cardiff into a screen innovation cluster that sustains and grows media production.
She has served as a member of the Royal Commission on the role of the House of Lords and until May 2016 was the Equality and Human Rights Commissioner for Wales. Ann was awarded an OBE in 2008 for her contribution to business and charitable services.
With so much business experience over a long and successful career, guests in attendance will be able to listen and learn a great deal from Ann, as well as having the opportunity to hear her views on any current business issues during a Q&A session.
Tickets to our April lunch with Ann Beynon OBE will cost £25 for members and £32.50 for non-members. This will include a two-course lunch.
Bookings will close at midnight on Friday 29th March, one week before the event.
The lunch will be held at the Village Hotel in Swansea and guests are asked to arrive from 12:15 for a 1:00pm lunch.
Standard two course business lunches – The event will come to a close around 3.30pm
