UK Steel Enterprise is investing £1m upgrading Forgeside which forms part of its Cardiff Bay Business
The building that served as laboratories for the former East Moors steelworks in Cardiff Bay is being upgraded in a £1m refurbishment.
Forgeside House is now part of the Cardiff Bay Business Centre (CBBC).
And the building, which once housed British Steel scientists, now provides space to small businesses.
The investment will see Forgeside radically altered with a makeover and better facilities. Cardiff Bay Business Centre is still part of the steel industry as it is owned and run by UK Steel Enterprise, a subsidiary of Tata Steel.
