Showcasing the Best of Welsh Business

14th March – Cardiff
Marketing In A Regulated World: A Practical Workshop

Workshop prepared by Graham Morgan of Business Doctors and Louise Matthews of Technical Marketing & PR  – a specialist marketing & PR team based in Penarth.

Whilst 2018 was synonymous with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) it is one of a number of regulations Business Owners need to have sight of when they go about planning their marketing activity.

We are still awaiting the delayed release of the e-privacy Regulation and that will have an impact of what you should and should not be doing when wooing new customers. Alongside PECR, TPS and CTPS can all influence the approach you take. In the final quarter of last year the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) started to take a much greater interest in all these areas and issue fines where disregard for the Regulation was identified.

Our Workshop will give delegates a balanced view of approaches that can be taken to generate business from new and existing customers in both B2C and B2B markets without getting tripped up by regulation.

This will be increasingly important as more and more individuals start to challenge inappropriate and unsolicited contact.

Delegates will benefit from:

  • Interactive powerpoint presentation.
  • Individual Workbook to capture key thoughts and considerations. This will allow an effective plan to be developed.
  • Current regulation Summary with update links.
  • Certificate of Attendance.
