Building work on a collection of new homes in Monmouthshire is progressing well.

Bellway is building 144 new houses on the first phase of development at Rockfield Farm in Undy.

The site – known as Greystone Meadows – will consist of two, three and four-bedroom homes and the first few plots are set to be released for sale this summer.

Billie Oaten, Sales Director for Bellway Wales, said:

“It’s always exciting to see the first homes start to take shape at a development, and Greystone Meadows is no exception.

“The mixture of homes we are building here will provide a wide range of properties to suit all types of buyers. The two and three-bedroom properties would be perfect for first-time buyers to make their move onto the property ladder, while the larger four-bedroom houses are ideal for growing families.

“There will also be a range of incentives available that buyers can use to make their move quicker and easier, including Help to Buy Wales and Part Exchange. No matter a buyer’s position, we’re confident that we can help them purchase at Greystone Meadows.

“Our database of people interested in buying a home at Greystone Meadows is growing every day, so we are urging people to register their details on the website so they can be among the first to find out new information about the homes as soon as it is released.”

Outline plans for a wider development of up to 266 new homes were approved earlier last year, with a planning agreement finalised which will see the developers making significant financial contributions to local infrastructure and facilities as well as providing 25 per cent affordable housing.

These include £800,000 towards adult recreation/community facilities, £200,000 towards the Magor railway station project, £175,000 to develop the existing bus service and £175,000 for play areas.
