Some of Swansea City’s star players were on hand to show the club’s appreciation for the support it gets from local businesses as Neath-based Low Cost Vans delivered the club’s latest addition to the crucial fleet of vehicles used by the club’s ground staff.
Jefferson Montero and Federico Fernandez helped take delivery of a new Mitsubishi L200 Double Cab Barbarian from Rod Lloyd, managing director of Low Cost Vans. The vehicle will be used by head grounds man Anthony Harry for many of the critical activities that take place behind the scenes of the Premier League club.
Low Cost Vans, the Neath-based national commercial vehicle provider, is the biggest local sponsor of Swansea City FC and supplies the football club with many of its commercial vehicles, which are mainly used by the stadium’s grounds staff.
Rod Lloyd, Managing Director of Low Cost Vans, said:
“We are delighted that Low Cost Vans is able to continue its support of Swansea City and the Liberty Stadium by supplying these vehicles. The exposure that these organizations bring to the Swansea region is insurmountable, and at Low Cost Vans we are delighted that we can contribute to all the effort that the staff of the stadium put in week in week out.
“They also do a huge amount for the local communities, something that sits at the heart of our ethos at Low Cost Vans. We would be nothing without our fantastic people and any initiatives that help put something back into the local community is something we embrace whole heartedly. Working with the Swans in this way works for us and the local community on many levels.”
Low Cost Vans offers a wide range of new vans for lease or contract hire at great prices. It can arrange free delivery to anywhere in mainland UK and also has fantastic discounts on all makes and models.
