Swansea Bay Business Club’s monthly networking lunch will be held on St. David’s Day where Welsh rugby legend Scott Quinnell will feature as a guest speaker.
As part of their on going commitment to expanding in to West Wales, the lunch will take place on Wednesday 1st of March at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli, a fitting venue for one of the Scarlets most famous sons.
President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Hayley Davies said;
“We are delighted to have secured someone of Scott’s standing within Wales to join us for our St David’s Day lunch. St David’s Day is the highlight of spring in the Welsh calendar and I am sure Scott will prove to be very popular with all of our guests.”
Scott will be talking to guests about his distinguished career in rugby, which saw him earn over fifty caps for wales and go on two British and Irish Lions tours, including the winning tour to South Africa in 1997. Scott will also discuss his flourishing career in the media after his retirement as guests enjoy a three-course meal and networking opportunities with some of South Wales’ most established businesses.
“As ever, the lunch will also provide invaluable networking opportunities for all of our guests and not just the sports fans amongst us. Prominent businesses from across South Wales will be in attendance as well as our new season sponsor The Training and Learning Company and we look forward to yet another fantastic afternoon.”
Tickets are available to purchase from the website and cost £40 per member and £45.50 for non-members. This will include a three-course lunch.
Bookings for the event will close at midnight on Wednesday 22nd February.
