Calbee UK, the manufacturer of savoury snacks that are better for you, has announced plans to increase the number of colleagues at its Deeside based factory in North Wales from 32 to 49, supporting longer-term job opportunities for local people.
With a number of new production roles available across the business, the company, which became a member of the Living Wage movement earlier this year, hopes to appoint all 17 positions over the coming weeks.

Since its official launch in June 2015 Calbee UK, manufacturer of Yushoi Snapea rice sticks, has secured listings with Tesco, Coop, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Whole Foods Market, Selfridges and also Ocado and Amazon.
The company has set out ambitious targets to secure sales of £65m by 2020 and to employ more than 100 colleagues across the business, which has facilities in both Deeside and Leeds.
