Recruitment Solutions Wales is proud to become the title sponsor of the newly promoted Hirwaun RFC, supporting them throughout the coming season. The Cynon Valley team will be looking to consolidate their position in Division 3B, replicating their home form that has seen them lose just one league game at home over the last two years.

Enjoying a rich history, Hirwaun RFC is as a focal part of the Cynon Valley’s sporting culture, originally formed in 1881. However, the impact of the First World War saw the club go into abeyance in 1914, not reviving until 1921. Excited to be part of the team’s future, Recruitment Solutions Wales are eager to see what is in store for the club.

Talking on the  sponsorship deal, Recruitment Solutions Wales’ Managing Director, Lee Powell, says:

“Recruitment Solutions Wales was first established in South Wales nearly 20 years ago and we pride ourselves on offering a personable and professional service to the local companies in the area. Built on the belief that having a recruitment partner is of the utmost importance to every successful business we are proud to boast many long standing corporate relationships. Deciding to support Hirwaun RFC was no different and we are extremely proud and excited to be the main sponsor for the coming season, we were keen to give something back to the community.

“Two of our Driving Division Team, Huw and Jason have played key roles within the Hirwaun organisation in both a playing and coaching capacity and it has been fantastic seeing the club coming from almost extinction to a position of strength. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Hirwaun RFC all the very best for the season ahead and we hope to continue building a long lasting partnership with the local area.”

Hirwaun will have an extensive preseason program which has already included a training camp in Portugal, alongside several tournaments before their first preseason game in early August. The club will also host their own tournament on 28th July in memory of a club member that passed away. Featuring 4 teams, the event will welcome players from Merthyr Valleys, Rhondda Valleys, Cynon Valleys and of course Hirwaun.

Head Coach of Hirwaun Paul Evans added:

“I am over the moon to have an established company like Recruitment Solutions Wales on board and hope that we can add value to their business through our networking and hospitality events but also raise their brand in the local market place.”
