Luxury holiday home provider Park Leisure has announced it is to invest £150,000 in its five-star Welsh parks – Plas Coch and Brynteg.

The investment is the latest in a string of developments for the leading holiday company and will see a £100,000 injection at Plas Coch and £50,000 development at Brynteg.

Work is already well underway and sees the installation of a new ventilation system at Park Leisure Plas Coch’s luxury in-door pool and spa, which includes eight treatment rooms and a luxury hydro pool, already completed.

Further enhancing home-owners’ experience at the 60-acre park on the idyllic Isle of Anglesey will be a new garden at the front of the park’s Elizabethan Manor House.  Dating back over 450 years, the Manor House is central to the park and home to a range of facilities including the Manor Bar and Restaurant, which serves the finest, locally sourced, seasonal dishes.

A key feature at Plas Coch, the park’s on-site boat facilities will also enjoy a makeover with a new and expanded storage facility located at the south east of the site in a secure area.  The facility is just one of the many features boat-owners can enjoy along with an on-site fuelling station, wash down facilities, and free launch and recovery from the park’s private, all-tide slipway – the only one of its kind on the Menai Strait.

For those with a passion for sailing but don’t want the hassle of ownership, Plas Coch’s exclusive Marine Club provides members with access to a fleet of boats throughout the year.

Across the water work at Brynteg, Park Leisure’s second Welsh site, nestled in the foothills of Snowdonia, is also underway.  Here improvements to the park entrance can be seen with the grounds re-tarmacked, gardens landscaped and surrounding buildings freshly painted.   A central water feature is also being installed providing homeowners with a welcoming arrival.

Speaking on the announcement, General Manager of Park Leisure Plas Coch and Brynteg, Simon Clarke, said:

“Our focus at Park Leisure is to provide stunning properties in stunning locations, a place where home-owners can enjoy amazing experiences.  With this investment we strive to enhance every one.

”Feedback from our home-owners to the developments underway is extremely encouraging and we’re looking forward to seeing the finished result.”
