Caerphilly county-based recruitment agency Focused Recruitment and its Director Kathryn Morgan are through to the finals for two categories of the Caerphilly Business Forum Awards: Business of the Year (under 25 employees) and Women in Business.
Now in its 15th year, the prestigious Caerphilly Business Forum Awards reward success and recognise business excellence within Caerphilly County Borough over the last 12 months.
Focused Recruitment Managing Director Kathryn Morgan says:
“It’s an absolute honour to reach the finals of not one but two Caerphilly Business Forum Awards. Focused Recruitment has had a particularly successful year underpinned by strong growth and the loyalty of our candidates, clients and staff. It was only last month that Focused Recruitment was named the fourth fastest growing firm in recruitment services in Wales at the Wales Fast Growth 50 awards.
“Clients value our unique way of working and specialism in the engineering and technical, manufacturing and industrial and commercial sectors. We’ve doubled our workforce over the last two years and recently relocated to a larger office at Ystrad Mynach’s Business and Technology Centre. We are now working towards doubling our turnover to £4 million over the next year.”
Denise Lovering, Chair of Caerphilly Business Forum, says: “It’s going to be a tough competition on the night with some very high calibre businesses and individuals nominated, but all the Caerphilly enterprises who have made it onto the shortlist should be very proud of themselves representing the borough. We wish them all good luck on the night.”
This year’s Caerphilly Business Forum Awards gala dinner will take place on Friday 18 November 2016 and be hosted by BBC Wales TV Presenter Jamie Owen at Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa, Ystrad Mynach.
