Cardiff Furniture Company Celebrates its Move to New Premises

Cardiff company First Grade Furniture is celebrating its move new premises at the Llandough Trading Estate on Penarth Road in Cardiff. Investing in new manufacturing equipment and a brand new website, the company is planning on expanding its market share and exploring other market sectors throughout the UK.

First Grade Furniture in Cardiff specialises in manufacturing, supplying and installing fitted furniture for schools and colleges, student halls, libraries and offices across the UK. It recently moved from Barry and has taken a five year lease on the 5,433 sq ft Unit 10 on the estate.

Potential new market sectors it can supply and fit custom-built furniture and fittings for include, leisure centres, retail units, restaurants and cafeterias, commercial offices and other public spaces.

“The new facility represents a phase of expansion and will offer a complete ‘one stop shop’ for our customers. We will now be able to design, manufacture and fit complete furniture solutions for our clients, while using our own facilities and experienced staff to provide bespoke furniture to the education market. The website helps us demonstrate what we can do and will provide a platform for growing new markets.”

He went on to say

“The new tools and extensive manufacturing space allows us to create customised and bespoke furniture, accommodating height adjustable desking, wall benching, bench seating and worktops with integrated fitted sinks and hobs, or for IT and general use, with a choice of laminated work surfaces, colours and finishes.

We offer a standard selection of manufactured and proprietary work tops. We are happy to advise on the most suitable work surface for any application.”
