Easter Trail at Cardiff Castle
April 8 – April 23
Find the answers to the puzzles in both the house and the grounds and win an Easter prize. Normal admission rates plus £1 per trail.
Family Crafts at Cardiff Story Museum
April 12 and April 19: 10am to 3pm
Creative fun for all the family at the award-winning Cardiff Story Museum. £1 per child and craft activities change weekly.
Cycling course at the Road Safety Centre in Maindy
April 18 – April 21: 10am to 12pm
Children aged 9 and over are invited to learn how to cycle safely at the Maindy Centre on a course that runs over four mornings. It costs just £10 and children must bring a roadworthy bike and helmet.
‘Growing Together’ at Cardiff Central Library
April 11: 10am to 4pm
A must for green-fingered enthusiasts at all levels. This FREE event at Cardiff Central Library offers demonstrations, talks and giveaways from expert gardeners and growers.
Easter Minecraft Club at Cardiff Central Library
April 10: 1030am to 1230pm
Gaming experts show you how to get through the levels and create exciting new Minecraft landscapes. Tickets for the club cost £8.
Family Rafting at Cardiff International White Water
Why not have a go at Family Rafting down the bay at the CIWW centre this Easter weekend? It’s fun for kids of all ages…the water level and speed of the rapids is lowered so that younger visitors can enjoy rafting on the white water course. This is the ideal activity for an enjoyable day out with the entire family, or those looking for a more chilled out rafting experience. Up to 6 people can fit into one raft. Costs range from £22.50 to £25 per person.
Easter Egg Hunt on Flat Holm Island
Easter Sunday 07:30am to 12pm

Bute Park Activity Days
April 18 and April 20: 10:30am to 12pm & 1:30pm to 3pm
Meet at the Education Centre and enjoy a FREE family activity day in the park. Activities include seed planting, story-telling, decorating flowerpots, badge designs and making craft flowers and bugs.
Nature Ramble at Forest Farm
April 15: 10am to 12pm
Bring your binoculars (if you have them) and join the Friends of Forest Farm on a guided walk to identify the ever changing array of birds and wildlife which call Forest Farm home. Meet at the Warden Centre, Forest Farm Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 7JJ for this FREE event.
Easter Fun in Victoria Park
April 16: 2pm to 4pm
Meet the Community Park Rangers at the bandstand in Victoria Park for some Easter-themed arts and craft activities. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is £1 per child.
