Almost four times as many people visited Scolton Manor over the recent half-term holidays compared to the same period last year, new figures have shown.
The boost is partly attributed to the well-established holiday activity programme for families, and the Welsh myths and legends sculpture trail – one of the latest additions to Scolton Manor.
The woodland trail features sculptures of some iconic figures of Welsh folklore including Gelert and Twm Siôn Cati, as well as the Welsh Dragon itself.
Other popular features at the all-weather attraction include the traditional Victorian country house, beekeeping centre, walled garden, children’s adventure play area, tearoom and gift shop.
Feedback included ‘Fab day out!’, ‘We had an awesome time’ and ‘We have been to quite a few of these events. They are great’.
The next event to take place at Scolton Manor is the Spring Fair on Sunday 19th March, from 10am to 4pm. There will be a variety of stalls including food and local produce, arts, crafts, gifts and jewellery.
Entry is £1 (under 15’s go free) and there is a £2.50 parking charge.
