Brexit Webinar – hold the date!
Article 50: Gearing up for Brexit
Wednesday 29 March from 12:00 to 12.40
The triggering of Article 50 represents the first major step towards the UK’s departure from the EU and begins a two-year period of negotiation. Grant Thornton are staging a webinar to support businesses and help them deal with the uncertainty that Brexit brings.
Alistair Wardell, Lead Partner in the Cardiff office told us;
‘Adam Jackson our national Head of Public Affairs will host a panel discussion to focus on the triggering of Article 50 and what it means to organisations. We will provide a macro economic and political update and practical advice to businesses on how they should prepare for Brexit in areas such as trade, talent or finance & operations.’
He went on to say;
‘What shape the UK’s relationship with Europe will take beyond March 2019 is unknown. While the business environment will not change much in the next two years, clients are telling us that they welcome the opportunity to clarify strategy, re-imagine business models and embrace new opportunities. Our CEO Room service in particular is proving a valuable tool for these forward thinking organisations to be best prepared in such economic uncertainties.’
The webinar is suitable for CEOs, FDs, HR Directors, HR managers and Finance Managers of all type of organisations and questions can be submitted to the panel before or during the webinar.
